On Monday, April 22, the Amethyst, Rubin and Sodalite classes teamed up to run for our planet. A few days previously, they had measured a lap of 534 meters in the forest that made a good running track. After a few words of encouragement, Herr Delport blew the whistle to start the run and off they went.
Each lap for every student was carefully tallied by the teacher who cheered them on. Together, the students ran 546 laps or 291,564 km.
The money they collected has been donated. Nabu and WWF have received 295,25 € each.
We congratulate the students on a job well done. We were all amazed at their determination and endurance. A big THANK YOU to all the parents who ran with the children and cheered them on as well as everyone who donated money.
