On Thursday, November 21, 2024, Reading Day took place at IMS. All learning groups enjoyed participating in various activities and were able to let their creativity run free. The students received an overview of the activities a few days before and were able to decide what they were interested in on Reading Day. There were great offers such as
- binding your own notebooks
- making bookmarks
- listening to stories told with Kamishibai (Japanese paper theater)
- drawing your own comics
- reading books in peace
- having books read to you by older students
- inventing fairy tales and illustrating them.
The children had a lot of fun on this day. They enjoyed being able to make their own decisions and being creative in different age groups. The atmosphere was relaxed and the children enjoyed a range of shared experiences.
