Twice a year, the after-school care educators at the International Montessori School Berlin send a large survey about the all-day program to the students. Once in the spring and once in the fall. The results always surprise us with regard to the creative and funny ideas of the children.
Children, parents and carers maintain the IMS quiet garden and thus strengthen their cohesion. The children learn a lot about nature and how we live from and with it.
Land art in the tranquillity garden is one of the IMS's AG programmes. Pupils use their creativity to realise the principles of cosmic education according to Maria Montessori.

By this summer, a maximum of 8 pupils will have improved their fitness and motivation, learnt to play tennis and made friends in a friendly group at the IMS Tennis Academy.
Rhythm is our constant companion: heartbeat, pulse, breathing. Participants in the drumming club led by Hernández Diaz experience this.
Being attentive in natural environments - preferably forest, meadow and water - is a central part of cosmic education. Forest days are an integral part of the school day at IMS. On World Earth Day, the classes Turmalin and Aquamarin carried out a rubbish collection campaign in the surrounding forest of the school and on the shore of Wannsee.
In a joint action, beds in the schoolyard and the rest garden were made summer-ready.
At the open all-day school IMS, a varied programme always awaits the children at holiday time.
Sometimes I help, sometimes I am helped - sometimes I show something, sometimes I am shown something. Inter-grade learning and an exchange of children across different age groups is part of the Montessori pedagogy that is cultivated at IMS.
