Dear children and guests, we will sing a song in a moment, the chorus of which says: We want to get up, approach each other, learn from each other, and interact with each other. Get up, approach each other and not walk away when we don't understand something. I wish you all the same for the next four years at our school. Get up happily every morning, make new friends, learn together, even if you argue, make up and look for solutions.
The fifth and sixth graders in the Aquamarine group were able to take part in an art workshop at the Liebermann Villa on 2 July as part of their art lessons.
The Villa Luna daycare centre also works bilingually according to the immersion principle. Our cooperation partner visited the IMS.
First sports day at IMS: children were divided into mixed-grade teams and came dressed in their team colours. The motto "Do your best together as a team".
Children, parents and carers maintain the IMS quiet garden and thus strengthen their cohesion. The children learn a lot about nature and how we live from and with it.
With a charity run, the children of the International Montessori School showed endurance. Nabu and WWF have received the donations of the parents.
Land art in the tranquillity garden is one of the IMS's AG programmes. Pupils use their creativity to realise the principles of cosmic education according to Maria Montessori.
At the recent friendly get-to-know-you meeting, we had the pleasure of discussing the development opportunities of the International Montessori School Berlin (IMS) with great anticipation for the future. The participation of Mrs Richter-Kotowski, City Councillor for Education, and Mr von Wittig, Head of the Sports and Education Department, gave the meeting a special significance.
